vacation update.

we didn't make it to nyc due to winter storm nemo (super sad face), but we had an amazing time in dc and even explored baltimore! last thursday we flew into dc - saw the monuments and made our way to 2Amys in georgetown. we were supposed to leave dc by bus last friday to nyc (however, nemo was expected to make its arrival and bring with it 10-15 inches of snow) so we decided to cancel our bus tickets/hotel and stay put. unfortunately we couldn't risk getting stuck in nyc.. and fortunately the hotel, king and grove, fully refunded our money due to weather conditions. we definitely will be booking with them when we make it to nyc!

on another note.. dane and i might have the worst luck ever when it comes to vacations/traveling. first, we experience hurricane sandy when we were in boston last fall which cut our vacation short and then we weren't able to make it to nyc due to winter storm nemo. worst luck ever? i think so.

no more winter vacations for us :)

and since we couldn't shop in nyc, i shopped in dc and did a little damage at zara. side note - i'm obsessed with wearing tights and jean shorts right now.. i think i'm ready for summer ;)
